Useful work, explained clearly
Scriptage is a collection of 500 original automation examples. Each one starts with a practical task and includes source code, preparation steps, a run command, explanations, customization ideas, and troubleshooting.
The collection covers commonly requested kinds of automation across 20 categories. It is curated by task and learning value; it is not a measured popularity ranking.
A way to learn through real tasks
Start with sample data, understand what the code reads and writes, and change one behavior. The goal is to help you use a tool today while developing the skills to make your next one.
What comes with each download
Every recipe ZIP contains a standalone script, a README with usage instructions, and an MIT license. Where the recipe needs a simple local input, the ZIP also includes small fictional sample files. Optional software and dependencies are listed on each page.
Run scripts where you choose
This website provides files and explanations. It does not execute scripts on your behalf, collect your source files, connect to accounts, or schedule jobs. Your browser keeps any saved-script list locally.
Use the checks as a starting point
See the verification notes for the difference between syntax checks and execution on real data. Start with the documented example and adapt deliberately.
